The Tornados in NY

There was great damage done by large thunder storms and tornadoes in my home town and in towns around it.  The damage it tremendous.  Not sure how many people are hurt or dead.  Please be praying for family that live there and everyone else that was affected. Also be praying for those who are helping with the recovery.  Let them be in your prayers....

Power of prayer

I spent around 40 minutes (on the elliptical ha ha, I don't mind the exersize) praying.  Crying out to God for help, peace and endurance.  I poured out my heart to Him, everything that has weighed on my soul for the last few days, weeks, months, and years, was revealed (He knew what was in my heart, I just had to say it to Him).  You wouldn't believe how fast I can talk when I am praying and how my desires flow out of me and up to heaven.  I think that the greatest request was that of humility.  I lack of many fruits of the spirit in which I so earnestly desire to posses.  Prayer is powerful and holy.  It brings you ever closer tot he throne of God.  If you are struggling (even if you don't know Christ), go for a walk, do something you enjoy yet still allows you to speak and think.  Talk like you are talking to a friend (He is your friend, and your heavenly Father), and pour out your heart.  Soon you will find that He is listening to every word you say. Powerful is prayer.

Please be praying for my family.  My great aunt is having trouble with her children who have not been the good kids that you would wish for.  She is trying to work through it and my grandmother is also having to step in because of my aunts failing health.  Please be praying for her and my grandmother.  My aunts name is Helen and my grandmothers name is Judy.  Thanks so much guys!
