Turkey

Although Turkey is a secular state, government restrictions, social hostilities and nationalism are key sources of persecution, causing discrimination, hate crimes and unfair judicial treatments. Muslims who convert to Christianity risk losing their jobs and being disinherited by their family. Some churches are registered and have permission to organize church services. Police officers are present in some church services to protect church-goers, but also to monitor the activities of Christians.
Pray:

• Sharing the gospel is socially unacceptable and sometimes dangerous. Ask God to protect those reaching out with the love of Jesus
• In recent years Turkey has become more open to public expressions of Islam under the government of Prime Minister Erdoğan. Pray for more openness to the gospel
• The trial against the murderers of three Christians in Malatya is still ongoing. Pray for justice to be done.

Martyred for His Faith

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani Was executed today. 3/4/12.  He was a only 34 years old.  He lived in Iran and was martyred for his Faith in Christ.  Please pray for his family!  To read more about Pastor Youcef go to PrisonerAlert.com

Devastation

Pray in earnest now!  Pray for those who have lost family members in these devastating tornadoes spread out over the south.

Indiana, Tennessee...places like that.  We had one pass within sight of out home.  It was scary...

Before the storm hit, I asked God, "Lord, you are God of all.  You give and you take away.  But I ask that you would protect our house, home and property (and everything on it).  This is yet another way that you show your power...Lord protect us..."  Well, He answered my prayer.  I realize now, how selfish I was not to have prayed for the protection of others, I guess I did ask that He protect family, but not others.  Now that the tornadoes have passed, I am sorrowfully burdened with the thought of how many dead were left in it's wake.

Pray for the families of the dead and wounded!  Pray for peace and comfort for the homeless.

Dear God,
Bless every soul that has gone through this tornado (tornadoes), bless those who are hurt and burdened.  Give comfort to the homeless and show your hand to those who do not yet know you.  Draw them to you through this time of hardship.  I love you Lord and thank you for every day that I walk this earth.  Amen.
