Faith and prayer...hand in hand

Hey, lets look at faith...I think that faith and prayer go hand in hand.  Don't you? If you pray, not thinking that you will receive what you have asked for, do you really think that you will get it? I honestly don't know if you will or not but, I am going to take a guess and say no, you won't.  On the other hand, if you stop and pray seriously and in full faith that you are going to receive from God what you have asked for (Proven it is part of his plan, as everything that happens is), you are going to be happy to find that god listens to your faith filled prayers.  Read this verse her and tell me what you think.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let his ask God,who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be  given him.  But let him ask in faith with no doubting,for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:5-6
